I have a preference for shapes and colors and lately I have been investigating, especially with the nude. I find it fascinating to form a colored background to produce a body and feel! I paint mostly in acrylics, and I have spent some time experimenting with pastels and watercolor, but always come back to acrylic, because the colors are so bright and beautiful. I'm from Norway, but I was born in Stockholm (Sweden). I now live since a long time in Switzerland , in Ehrendingen. I mix different cultures in me, because I have lived in different countries, USA, Portugal and Spain. It may not have really a direct influence on my work these stays , if not for the temperament and the colors of the South reflected in many of my paintings. I'm really self-taught, so what I paint, I discovered it myself . In addition, I have attended a fashion design school in Zurich and a few courses in acrylic painting and nudes. Painting is my life.
