Barbara Fisher was born in Zurich on the 5th of July 1959.
The Zurich artist lived for seven years in Singapore. There, she studied art ceramic and sculpture during four years at the Academie “La Salle” . She found her inspiration in her numerous travels in South east Asia.
Barbara moved back to Europe in 1987 and worked for a year as an art ceramist in Düsseldorf. She opened her own Atelier in Zürich thereafter.
Since 1990, Barbara performs exhibitions from objects made of iron and ceramic. In parallel to her artistic activities Barbara also conducts individual ceramic courses.
