Born in Lille, in the North of France, Nathalie Claudin-Georges has only ever left this region to carry out excursions in the Alps. Only these mountains take her away from her native Flandre region. Her parents liked to pause and watch landscapes. From them, she developed a taste for contemplation. She mixed with it, over her walks alone or along with her family, the desire to laugh at the unexpected.

 

She usually walks, as often as she cans, with her “appareil en bandoulière” (her photo camera …), to the school where she teaches. Nathalie Claudin-Georges snapshots surprise, desynchronisation, unexpectation, but also sensible moments, emotion towards nature, the charm of a reflection or of a shadow.
